Young Musicians at the Wendt
I was selected by the Board of Trustees of the Lionel Wendt Art Centre to perform in the Young Musicians at the Wendt concert series on three consecutive occasions.These performances strengthened not only my musicianship and stage confidence, but also my appreciation for collaboration, supporting other young musicians and connecting meaningfully with an audience.
ChildAid International - Japan
I was selected to represent Sri Lanka at Child Aid International 2020, organised by Little Creators of Japan.
Originally planned for Suntory Hall in Japan, the concert moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and brought together young musicians from countries including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Mexico and South Africa.
The concert raised funds to help provide laptops for Japanese orphans to access school lessons, making it a meaningful opportunity to contribute to an international initiative through music.
World Down Syndrome Day - Malta
For World Down Syndrome Day 2021, I collaborated with my friend and advocate Angela Bettoni, singing and providing piano accompaniment for her music cover Wear Your Crown.
The experience reinforced for me how music can create connection, inclusion and shared expression across distance and difference.

Performance has always existed alongside another part of my musical identity: creating music of my own.
Where Has Christmas Gone?
Co-written with fellow chorister Sajani Ratnayake for our school choir, this carol reflects several difficult years in Sri Lanka, including the 2019 Easter attacks, the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022 economic crisis.
We began the piece in a minor key to express grief and uncertainty, before moving into a major key to represent hope, resilience and the belief that love can overcome even the darkest times.
